About Royal Rangers

To evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders.

Royal Rangers is America's premier, most sought after mentoring ministry for next generation men! Today's boy is tomorrow's man. The best time to train a man is while he's still a boy. By mobilizing, inspiring, and resourcing mentors, Royal Rangers offers character and servant leadership education to boys and young men (K-12) in a highly relational, fun, and interactive environment.

Influence more, more effectively! That is our vision. In 1962, Royal Rangers started with only a few boys. Today, thanks to the innovation and devotion of our mentors "to influence more boys and young men than ever, more effectively than ever," Royal Rangers' influence continues to expand, shaping future generations one boy at a time. Royal Rangers exists to "evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders." This is our passion!

Mentoring future men with God's Word as our guide is our aim.

Statewide Leaders Conference

                                                                                                Jan 21 2012

Dear Commanders,

Statewide Leaders Conference is fast approaching. This conference will take place at Lake Geneva Bible Camp on March 23-25th. We will be covering a variety of topics to help your outpost be successful. This conference is a great opportunity for you and your leaders to participate in training and fellowship with the other commanders from the state.

This year we are also offering training to Girls Ministries, so please invite your Girls Ministry Leaders to join us.

Training sessions will include: Essentials, Safety in the Church, First Aid and CPR.  Essentials class is an 8 hour training that teaches skills for building relationships and spiritual development for classroom ministry. This course is about encouraging and training leaders to be successful in the classroom. First Aid and CPR courses are Red Cross certified, and available to those not enrolled in the Essentials course. Church Safety will be available for all conference participants.

We are again offering a leadership track for Adventure Ranger boys and older. This training will be taught by Forrest Loven and Van Rone. Topics will include requirements to serve on staff at summer camps, and Next Generation Leader by Andy Stanley. They also have fun activities planned, so please encourage your young men to come.

Our guest speaker for the conference is Reverend Clarence St. John Minnesota District Superintendent.

We will also be sharing information about upcoming District activities: Statewide Campout, National Camporama and summer training camps.

The District will also be giving away two National Camporama scholarships ($275.00 value ea.). To be entered into the drawing your outpost needs to be chartered and in attendance at the conference.

Enclosed you will find your registration form and a tentative schedule for the conference. Check the district web site http://mnaog.org/Departments/RoyalRangers  for the latest information about the conference.

Thank you for your service to the Ranger Ministry.

Reverend Rick Scott

Minnesota Royal Rangers District Director
