SPECIAL EVENTS

The Minnesota District Christian Education Department plans and organizes a number of events throughout the year. These events provide opportunity for people across our state to join together and learn more about Jesus, missions and ministry.

Listed below are the annual events:

Special Events for 2007

• Kid's Fine Arts Festival (November 10): Open to boys and girls in grades K - 6. This helps boys and girls explore their God-given talents and to see they too are able to be used by God to minister to others.

• Children's Pastors (KEEP) Retreat (November 12 - 14, 2007): This retreat, held at the Ramada, Minneapolis NW home of Grand Rios Water Park. This event is for our state children's pastors and leaders to get away and enjoy ministry, encouragement, inspiration, learning, making new friends and seeing old ones.

Special Events for 2008

• BGMC Super Goal Sunday (January): Churches are asked to turn in pledges to the district office by the fourth Sunday in January.
• The Park @ MOA Days (January 21 & February 18, 2008): After the holidays and cold weather that comes our way in January, we thought it might be great to offer an indoor event that children and the whole family can enjoy. This year we are offering two dates! Come to either or both! This day is a great opportunity for you and your church family to get together for a day of fun.
• Kids Convention: (February 22 & 23, 2008): Kids Convention is an overnight, high-energy, fun event that will encourage kids in grades 3 - 6 to continue to follow God.
• All Church Ministries Convention: This event is done every other year. It will take place March 14-15, 2008 at Emmanuel Christian Center.
• Kids Camp!: Kids Camps are a great place to get away from the daily routine of life and really experience God without distractions. Information and Registratrion coming soon.
