ASIA PACIFIC - Dwight Palmquist

Dwight has been a missionary with the Assemblies of God for many years. He currently serves in the Philippines. His primary ministry is to help establish the Filipino churches by supporting local district priorities in a team effort.

He will spend six months in one district and then proceed to the next. Often Dwight will travel with a music and drama team and hold outdoor evangelistic meetings with film showings. When he arrived in the Philippines in 1972, there were less than 300 AG churches. Today, there are over 2,600! Filipinos are reaching out to other countries and some Filipinos are leaving to become missionaries. Dwight reports that several have gone to India, Thailand and Cambodia.

Dwight states, "How well I realize that it is the last mile of our lives that count the most. I am praying to daily live in the presence of God, to clearly reflect the character of Christ and to walk in the Spirit. My life goal is simply to allow the Holy Spirit to live the life of Christ in me to the glory of God, the Father."

Dwight's Prayer Requests:

1. Final shipment to arrive safely, especially the sound system.
2. Good price on STL vehicle to save resources for STL.
3. Protection of team as they travel in dangerous areas.
4. Purchase of needed equipment - wisdom to get best and most durable items.
5. That the presence of God would increase in me daily.
6. That I would clearly reflect the character of Christ.
7. That I may always be anointed & empowered by the Holy Spirit.
8. That God's purpose for our ministry in the Philippines would be fulfilled.
9. That I would make the best use of the time, talent and resources that God has entrusted to me.
10. That I would grow daily in grace and in the knowledge of Him (2 Peter 3:18).
